I’ve found an issue that relates to apps that requires access to screen record in the Mac's security settings. It seems that when apps, such as Bartender and Default Folder X, is granted access to screen recording Acrobat starts to acting up. Obviously I don’t know which app is the faulty one. The spinning beach ball keeps on appearing in Acrobat and it pretty much becomes unusable. It seems to be related to the preferences under “Reading/Screen reader options” in Acrobat, although I don’t know what it does. I know this because the attached window appears when certain apps are granted access to screen recording. Anyone else recognize this issue? The problem goes away if I don't allow Bartender/Default folder X to access screen recording in the mac settings. Unfortunately this renders these apps unusable. Would love a solution to this.
