Question

Acrobat standard 2020 offline installing no longer an option

All of a sudden my adobe decided to ask to connect to the internet, which i cannot for work-related reasons.

After being 2 hours chatting with different tech support people, they finally realized that the option to install offline is no-longer available.

I've been asked to call a 1-800 number and of course i'm waiting on the phone.

This is going to affect many people that need to install and use the product without connecting to the internet.

You are right. It is no longer an option. Adobe planned it, it's not an accident. I don't say it's a good thing.

Hi Bethy

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

Acrobat products automatically attempt to activate over the Internet. During activation, no personal information is transmitted. If your organization has computers that cannot be online for activation, IT administrators can set an offline exception using Adobe Customization Wizard. Learn more about IT resources.

I'm sorry but your "help" is not helpful at all.

The first link takes me to:

So as a customer you expect me to search your HELP and figure out what to do on the forums, seriously?

And then, the second link takes me to the FAQ?, seriously, the regular tech support was much more helpful than you.

I'm sorry but I've been dealing with this for several days, and your response is not very professional.
