Re: installing Adobe Standard Acrobat DC

First, installer said I already had functioning Acrobat program on machine and to remove it.  So I uninstalled the Acrobat DC I got on the free trial and tried to install Standard Acrobat DC download again.  Installer said it failed, try again (which I did), and then contact Adobe support.  Help?

Hi michaelv30358267,

Please try to download it from alternate browser and check if it works.

You can also try to install Acrobat DC trial and then convert it to full license version.

Refer the steps provided in this help link : Convert Acrobat Pro DC trial to a full license

Let us know how it goes.

Hi michaelv30358267,

Please use cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs  if you are on Windows and restart your system.

Then try to install application from here: Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X

Let us know if you still experience any issue.

Meenakshi

I used the Adobe Acrobat cleaner then began downloading Acrobat Standard DC.

On the requirements for Standard DC itsays Explorer and Firefox under browsers. I use Google Chrome as my browser. Will that work? The download failed. It said "Download error."

Help!
