I have an acrobat standard DC subscription and I just got a new laptop, how do I install - the download link says I am not able to have 2 subscriptions.

That is correct, in a way, you cannot have two subscriptions with one Adobe ID. But you can install the software on two different computers (of your own, for you only) with just one subscription.
