Acrobat Updates in an Enterprise environment.

I was wondering how Big Companies keep Acrobat up to date.

SCCM/Intune?

Wondering is all fine until you start really reading about how to do that with the Adobe Acrobat Admin Guide, the Acrobat Precerences Reference, and exploring how to customize installation packages with administrative XML templates, enforce Group Policies, etc... and remain cool and collected if in that exploratory journey you end up discovering limitations due to lack of integration between platforms, waiting for an update that may never address the newly discovered issues, or simply bumping into licensing models that may need to be upgraded when budget doesn't allow it.

 

This is just my personal opinion and in no way it represents the posture of Adobe nor Microsoft, nor Apple.

 

But pretty much, if your that Admin guy... good luck!

 

Hopefully you have a good boss over you that won't fire you if things doesn't work as advertised.
