Question

Acrobat won't export/convert .pdf

I'm trying to convert a 10-page .pdf to a spreadsheet using the usual methods that have worked before-- File > Export To > Spreadsheet > Excel Worksheet or the same thing via Tools > Export PDF. It won't export to Word  or XML either. What happens is that the progress boxes appear for a few seconds but a new file is not generated. Using the Tools method, the Save button is "blued out" so that it cannot be used.

It appears to be more like a permissions issue but there's no problem with the account. OSX 10.15.1, Acrobat DC 2020. (Licensed in the USA but using in Europe though I can't find an issue with doing that.)

Thanks for any suggestions

Hi,

Can you confirm that the location you are writing to is fully accessible?

Have you tried to export to teh Desktop, just in case?

In the Proerties panel (Cmd+D) is there any issue in Security that might interfere?

Just to test, can you ask a colleague with a Word on Windows to open the pdf to test if it is fully accessible?

The folder is accessible and exporting to desktop encounters the same problem. No restrictions under Preferences / Security. Quit and rebooted. Have not found someone on Windows to check it out...

Hi,

I suggest you contact your local technical support, they can guide you through system checks to find the solution.
