Acrobat X Pro Installation not working in-spite of having license

I have been getting problems installing my Acrobat X Pro.

I have a perpetual license & still it does not work

Please help resolve.

Acrobat X is an old and unsupported version, and is not officially compatible with any current OS, so problems are to be expected.
To increase the chances of it working run it in Compatibility Mode with an earlier OS, like Windows 7.
