Acrobat X Standard scanning problem

Acrobat X Standard -- scanning problem.

I have the program on a desktop, and I have a HP three-in-one printer / scanner.  Creating PDFs from the scanner works fine.  BUT, I just installed the program on a new Win10 laptop and I cannot scan.  When I try to create a PDF from scanner, I get this error message:  "Bad parameter."  When I "X" out that box, this error message appears:  "This operation cannot be completed, since scanning is in process."

HELP !!!!

Hi BruceCJ,

Adobe Acrobat Standard X is an old version of Acrobat series which is no longer supported and declared as an discontinued product.

End of support for Acrobat X and Reader X

As mentioned above, that it doesn't work when you are installing it on latest Windows10 computer. So there must be some compatibility issue with this version of Acrobat and Win10, as it has not been tested on latest operating systems.
