Acrobat XI Pro 2017 installs on home laptop in Polish

I just bought Acrobat XI Pro 2017 via download from TechSoup. It installed fine on my work computer, but when I try installing on my laptop (running Windows 10) at home, everything is in Polish. I change the language to English in the pull-down menu, but the window titles and buttons are still in Polish. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the same thing happens. Any suggestions?  Also, I have Acrobat DC installed from before I got this version. Do I need to uninstall it first?  Thank you.
