Acrobat XI Pro in Finnish language, not English (US)

I am IT support for faculty at a University.  I had to re-image a faculty Windows 7 computer with MS Deployment Tools.  So I needed to re-install Acrobat XI Pro.

I downloaded Acrobat XI Pro, extracted, ran installer, gave serial number.  Acrobat seemed to run fine in my admin account and I could read the English language.  Had faculty log in using their (non-admin) account and the program opens in what seems to be the Finnish language, which neither of us can read.  I did Google search.  Based on that I went to control panel/ Programs/ right clicked on Acrobat, chose "Change", then "Modify".  Under Languages both English and Finnish were installed.  So I chose to uninstall Finnish.  After that completed I rebooted.  But no fix. Still shows a language I can't read.

Then I downloaded and ran the Acrobat cleanup tool.  Reran the installer in the faculty's login.  Still no fix, same problem.  It seems to be installed properly, just showing in a  language I can't read (probably Finnish) instead of English (US).

I have done exactly that, as I mentioned in the original post.  I have now done it several times, most recently making sure the Finnish language did not install, only English, through "Custom" install.  But when I run the program it shows Finnish language, which I cannot read.

if you follow all 7 steps you can directly download a trial here:  Adobe Acrobat XI Pro/Standard and Reader: Direct Download Links | ProDesignTools

and activate with your serial number.

if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.

the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.
