Acrobata 2025: Table Editor Not Updating When TH Tags Are Correct in Tag Tree (Structure Map)

I’m running Adobe Acrobat Pro – Continuous Release Version 2025.001.20844 (Enterprise) and running into a consistent accessibility issue with tables.
Even with the Tags panel showing the TH tags correclty, the Table Editor view does reflect this update.
In other words:
- The Tags panel shows the correct structure (<Table> → <TR> → <TH>).
- But the left-hand Table Editor overlay still labels the cells as 2 large “TH” instead of the 9 or so "TH" it should be displayed
- Header cells are not visually recognized in the table structure map.
- The structure map will not refresh.
I have tried:
- Retagging the document
- Editing TH/TD types directly in Table Cell Properties
- Using the Reading Order tool
- Closing/reopening Acrobat
- Re-exporting from Word
- Drawing new tables in World
I tried to delete the entire <Table> tag and force Acrobat to recreate the table via Reading Order → Table but I was getting errors and failure messages when trying to d o this. The older “Reanalyze Table” option is also missing in the 2024–2025 redesign.
Here are screenshots showing:
- The Table Editor overlay incorrectly showing 2 TH for header cells
- The Tags panel correctly showing <TH> elements
Can Adobe confirm:
- Is this a known issue with the 2024–2025 redesign?
- Is there a new way to force the Table Editor’s structure map to refresh?
- Or is deleting and recreating the <Table> tag currently the only workaround?
I have multiple large tables in a long document and need the Table Editor overlay to reflect the correct header structure for accurate accessibility remediation.
Any guidance or clarification would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
