Activating Acrobat Standard DC Fails

When I try to activate my Acrobat Standard DC subscription first I receive a message congratulating me on my purchase but then, when I try to use some Acrobat Standard DC's feature, another message shows up telling me that my evaluation period has terminated and that I should buy a subscription. Interestingly, when installing the software using the link provided by Adobe in an e-mail sent to me when I bought my Acrobat Standard DC subscription a progress bar shows up telling me "installing Acrobat Standard DC" but after the installation is complete and running the programm what I have is "Adobe Acrobat Pro DC" on the top right corner of my screen, maybe this is somehow related to my problem since my subscription is for the Standard version.

1. check your subscription and verify your adobe id by going here, Adobe ID

2. if your subscription is what you expect, open acrobat and click help > sign in using the same adobe id/pass as used in step 1.

[moved from Downloading, Installing, Setting Up to Installing, Updating, & Subscribing to Acrobat]

Thank you for your response, klag. Unfortunately, it didn't solved my problem.

I have followed the steps you suggest, which are the steps suggested by Adobe, I sign out then sign in using my Adobe ID, I receive a message congratulating me for my purchase but then, when I try to use some of the Adobe Acrobat Standard DC I receive another message, this one saying that my trial period is over and that I must purchase a license...I even removed Acrobat and then installed it again but no use...

is your installed program acrobat standard or acrobat pro?

if your subscription is for std and you have pro installed, that would explain the problem.  you'll need to uninstall the pro version and then install the std.

did you use the cc desktop app to install?  https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
