Activation Server Issue

I have installed Adobe Acrobat X on a new computer.  The software indicates that the activation limit has been reached.  Further it asks me to deactivate the software on the old computer.

I did this.  However the new installation does not acknowledge that.  It keeps asking me to deactivate the software on the old computer despite the fact that I already did it.

How do I get the software activated?

@GLENN27825354ds9q Due to changes in the authentication system, security protocols, or backend infrastructure, older Adobe apps may become incompatible with the old sign-in methods. To continue access, you need to switch to a new sign-in method. The following Adobe apps no longer support the old sign-in method. You can reactivate or reinstall them using the new sign-in method.

Interesting approach.  However Acrobat X does not have a QR code.  So I need a technique that does not rely on scanning a QR to get the activation.  Perhaps there is one like that?

@GLENN27825354ds9q I was logging into YouTube on my TV, and I had either need to scan a QR code on TV or enter my password. Well, I forgot my password, so I used my phone to scan the code, and I just had to confirm the special code on my device. It worked great.

For you, try using your phone.
