I have a pdf in TradeGothicLT-CondEighteen font but when I open it in Adobe Acrobat, the actual font being used is Adobe Serif MM. How do I get it to recognize and use TradeGothicLT-CondEighteen? Thanks for your help!

Your fonts or subset of the fonts have not been embedded when the PDF was created. This is an optional parameter for creating PDFs when using Acrobat's PDF Maker add-in.

Interesting. So I need to embed TradeGothicLT-CondEighteen. I'm struggling a little with that now. I followed this tutorial which helped me embed the font on that specific document, but is it possible to embed the font so it automatically works on any new documents created with that font?

There are many ways to make a PDF. Each one may have different options. So... How exactly are you making these PDFs. Please describe the steps, not just the software.
