Add bates numbering to documents Adobe DC Standard

I'm unable to follow the only guide available from Adobe as it doesn't seem to apply to Adobe Acrobat DC. Here is a highlight from the support article which I will link below, there is no "More" option in the secondary toolbar under the "Edit PDF" tool utility. Can anyone explain how to add bates numbering to documents in Acrobat Standard DC?

When designating documents for Bates numbering, you can add PDFs, and any non-PDF files that can be converted to PDF. The process converts non-PDF file types to PDF, and then adds Bates numbers to the resulting PDF.

  • Choose Tools > Edit PDF.The Edit PDF toolset is displayed in the secondary toolbar.
  • In the secondary toolbar, choose More > Bates Numbering > Add.

Besides the page number work around has anyone been able to determine why Adobe Acrobat Standard DC does not appear to support Bates numbering per the online help documentation at https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/add-headers-footers-pdfs.html which states there should be a Bates numbering option under More?

  • Choose Tools > Edit PDF.The Edit PDF toolset is displayed in the secondary toolbar.
  • In the secondary toolbar, choose More > Bates Numbering > Add.

Is this software function not supported by Adobe Acrobat Standard DC?

Well, it may not be exactly what you want, but it works:

You can create a header (I suggest use Add New) and then use the page number in the upper left or upper right (or lower) and insert the page number.  If you wish, you can add text before the page number.

Now, if you want them to have a variety of prefixes, for example, one document A-1, A-2 . . . . and the next B-1, B-2  . . .  keep the documents separated, add the header on each as you wish it to appear, finalize and then combine.  It works fine.

Look at the link. You can add bates numbers with Acrobat Pro.
