Add comments / text comments doesn't work

Hello,
for a few days now the options to annotate - add comments doesn't work. Either completely or it just shows the rectangle where I can type something and then the comment dissappears immediately. Windows 11, the latest Chrome version. Thanks for help

Could you please confirm whether the option does not work for a particular PDF?

Are you adding annotations to the document shared for review?

Would you mind sharing the screen recording to better understand what is happening?

Share the Acrobat version number as well.
