Add multiple unique text to a pdf template

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is even possible, hence the question?

Trying to see if there is a way to take a file (notepad maybe) of unique text/code eg.

12345-12345-12345-12345-12345

54321-54321-54321-54321-54321

23456-23456-23456-23456-23456

and stamp just one of these codes in sequence into a pdf template document multiple times.

The end results is a batch of pdf files all the same, but with a different code in each file.

Or would I need a windows program to do this for me automatically?

Any help in the right direction would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks.

It certainly is possible, using a script.

For example, I've developed this (paid-for) tool that does just that: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat -- Batch Watermark A PDF File

Sounds very much like what I'm after, do I need Adobe Acrobat Pro to use it?

If so, I have an old Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro version, would this work if pro is needed?

Many thanks

Any version of Acrobat will work, including yours.
