Add note to replace text

I have a problem with "Add note to replace text". Before Acrobat was revamped, I used to be able to doubleclick on a word and just start typing the replacement word. Now I have to right-click, select "Add note to replace text" and then type the replacement word. It's very cumbersome.

In Acrobat related forums the most popular answer right now is to go back to the old interface:

Hi all

I agree that this new workflow is annoying. I fixed it by "disable new acrobat" in acrobat pro 2023. See here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/acrobat-2023-how-to-revert-to-classic-gui-user-interface/td-p/14052807

I agree -- This is a terrible change. Adobe, please fix!
