Adding One Textbox for two pages

I am having trouble adding one text box that is for one page and extends to another page. Does anyone know how to do this? I tried the duplicate across pages, but all it does is add another text box with the same properties. I am wanting it to be all in one text box for more than one page...

I attached a screen shot of what happens when I duplicate across pages... I pretty much don't want to have 2 of the same textbox, and just only want 1 textbox.
