Adobe 7.0 Professional problem activating a paid for software

I did install a 7.0 professional from a disk to my new laptop. after 30days it says 30 days trial has passed and you have to activate. I tried to activate by following the prompts but it said unsuccessful. I called Adobe and it seems like they giving me go around since this is an  older software regardless that it was paid for with green dollars even back then.

This product is installed on my old laptop I would like to know how I can install it on to my new one. I was told by someone that I should go to my account and remove it from the old laptop and then try to install it to the new laptop. I am not that computer savvy.

I welcome any suggestions and or solutions.

Thanks

Adobe makes a lot of different professional applications.  If you can clarify what you mean by "Adobe 7.0 Professional" it might help lead to a solution.

Meanwhile check out the following and see if it applies...

"Activation server unavailable" error in Adobe CS2, Acrobat 7, and Audition 3

Download Adobe Acrobat 7 and Adobe Creative Suite 2 products

You should also be aware that Acrobat 7 will not properly install and/or function on any version of Windows beyond 32-bit Windows XP. A “new laptop” is certainly not going to have Windows XP from 15 years ago!
