Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard online activation [Acrobat 8 is dead]

I have a few questions:

a.) Can Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard be activated online?  To rephrase, is there something out there that will answer when it tries.
b.) If there is something out there, do newer operating not allow the connection?
b.) Should I be using the original software installation?   I have been using my original CD, booklet and serial number.
c.) Is there anyway to get a confirmation number, like the old phone activation system?  I see the phone activation has been shutdown.

I looke at some old posts on the subject.  They proved:
"follow the steps here to install an acrobat 8 that needs no activation, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/activation-fails-cs3-acrobat-8.html"
This nolonger seems to be a valid link.

a) No.

c) Contact Adobe Customer Service and demand a solution. We can't help you. For a while there was an installer available that didn't require activation, but Adobe recently removed it from its web-site.

There is no solution. Acrobat 8 is dead and can no longer be used if it's not already installed on a computer.
