I upgraded my computer and now use Mac OS 10.13 High Sierra. My pdf document is 183 pages and I need to replace pages frequently (have been doing it for years in Mac OS 10.9) but now the document freezes and Acrobat crashes. Every other aspect of Acrobat 9 Pro works fine. www.carstenburmeister.com

This is not surprising. Your application is very old and not compatible with your operating system, so problems are to be expected.

I have the same problem after a crash, can't install my old Acrobat Pro 9 because I couldn't get the verification codes after I loaded the registered license keys because the servers were shut down.

The reason I still want Acrobat Pro 9 is that none of the newer Adobe products can compete with Pro9's drawing function.

I have made more than 1000 drawings since 2010, structural design of small houses (wood) much faster and good enough for carpenters.
Sometimes do the same with Autocad for example but it takes longer and is not as clear, with colors etc.
The rendering is done on finished architectural drawings as a direct basis and the builders are very happy with this level.
Then it is easy to cut from old projects directly and from calculation details and brochures etc.

I have tried Bluebeam but it is not nearly as easy to draw with as Pro 9

It is very sad that it is not possible to reinstall Pro 9.

I hope there will be some company that wants to make a remake that corresponds to Acrobat Pro9 because I know that many people miss it and that it could be a success quickly,

Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 is now an end-of-life product and the activation servers have been permanently shut down. That means it’s unfortunately no longer possible to reinstall or reactivate it, even with a valid serial number. Yes, I understand and I thought this was the case ... I guess what I want to find out is if there is a later version of Acrobat Pro I can upgrade to, without buying the annual subscription?

You can't upgrade because your version is too old for that, but you can buy a new perpetual license for Acrobat 2017.
