Adobe Acrobat broke Kodak Plug in Plate Builder

Since the update the Plug-in Plate builder supplied by Kodak doesn't work at all. I submitted to Kodak and they have confirmed the recent Adobe Acrobat Pro release has broken the plug in (Plate Builder). When we try use Platebuilder to select anything in the art file everything goes blank and we have to close the file. Until this is resolved I am forced to use an older version of AcrobatPro with updates turned off. Please fix this bug. I am a fan with a lot the Adobe updates but this one completely had a negative impact for all of our Kodak Prinergy users at my company, including the fact that the new Acrobat Pro crashed a lot. Sorry, normally things go really good with Adobe Acrobat.

Be sure to use the "Old UI", the new one sucks, especially with plugins and Print Production tools: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/acrobat-2023-how-to-revert-to-classic-gui-user-interface/td-p/14052807

That is the work around we are currently doing. Kodak gave us links to 2 installers that brought us back to the previous version before Jan update. Then we turned off the updates.

There are always tests to be done if you use a specific plug-in. And it may well be that Kodak needs to provide an update to their plug-in. In all cases, you can log a bug with Adobe in uservoice: https://acrobat.uservoice.com.

Im currently using a work around been working with Kodak for a few days. Kodak is working with Adobe on the issue but requested I post about here also. As it appears to be the update that has cause an issue with only one of Kodak's plugs. This is a Pre-press plug in used in the printing industry and other users may look here to see that it is a know issue with Adobe and Kodak. Thanks though Abambo.
