Adobe Acrobat DC Reader was running on 2 of my computers.  Then a use wasn't able to open a pdf file, come to find out - Reader is no longer installed and Adobe Acrobat DC (64-bit) is installed.  We didn't purchase a license for the users so we are uncertain as to what happened.  No one in our IT department worked on the 2 computers.  Is Adobe pushing a trial version in order for users to get a license?  Is Adobe Acrobat Reader not going to be used?  We are all puzzled by this.  It happend on 1 computer 11/13/2021 and the other today 11-16/2021.

In the 64 bit version Acrobat Pro and Reader are the same app. If it's not signed in, then it has Reader Features. If it is signed in, then it has Acrobat Pro features.

It seems Adobe changed the installation path of Reader and Acrobat to be the same in one of the latest updates, meaning you can no longer have the two installed side-by-side. Nice change, right?
