Adobe Acrobat DC crashing on text entry

Hi, 

I've recently ben having odd behaviours in my Acrobat app for about a week now. I currently cannot edit text in text frames of a form using the edit PDF tool (the same happens in the Form editor tool). I can highlight text, delete text, but any keystroke in a text frame crashes the program.

We are currently using FormMaker and Commonlook add-ons. The forms are generated in Indesign using FormMaker to apply js to the fields.
