Adobe Acrobat DC desktop - page numbers are all different sizes

I added page numbers to a document and clicked 'keep position and size of the font the same for all page sizes' but the page number still are all different.  They never get larger than the font I selected but they will get much smaller.

Hello pamc90562799

As per the description above, the page numbers(header&Footer) are in different sizes in a PDF file even after selecting the option in Appearance options "Keep the position and size of header/footer text constant when printing on different page sizes", Is that correct?

Please check for any pending updates of Acrobat from Help>Check for updates, reboot the machine and see if this brings any difference.

have you tried adding the page numbers in a different PDF file and checked? Is the issue is specific to one PDF file or with all the PDF files?

Is it possible to share a screenshot of the error/issue you are facing? To share the screenshot, refer to How to share a file using Adobe Document Cloud

You may also refer to the following KB docs https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/how-do-i-add-page-numbers-at-the-bottom-of-my-pages

Add headers, footers, and Bates numbering to PDFs, Adobe Acrobat Link: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/add-headers-footers-pdfs.html

Let us know your findings.

Regards,

Anand Sri.

Hello Simonm,

We're sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. Install the latest patch of Acrobat from help>check for updates, or manually from DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products

is it specific to one PDF or with all the PDF files? Have you checked with another PDF?

Is it a Mac or Windows machine and what is the version?

Is it possible to share the file with us so that we can test it at our end?

To share the file, please use Adobe Send feature, login to https://cloud.acrobat.com/send using your Adobe ID(email) and password, upload the file, share the link to files via private message only,

Thanks,
