Adobe Acrobat DC Error 1791

Greetings,

I tried to update the Adobe Acrobat DC app and I get the Error: 1791. I've searched online and there doesn't look like there is a solution. Or my research skills are lacking. I've tried un-installing the app, then re-starting computer, then re-installing the program, then updating. Same error.

Computer Specs.:

macOS Sierra

Version 10.12.6

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

Continuous Release | Version 2018.011.20035

How can I fix this issue? Suggestions welcome!

I believe yes, I downloaded the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC from this. (see screenshot above)

restart your computer and try again.  if that fails, you probably have an os update pending.

I did restart my computer (twice).

I have not update my computer to High Sierra yet because of certain other programs on my computer.

Is that the only solution is to upgrade OS?

is the cc desktop app from here (https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud) installed?
