Adobe Acrobat DC - Reader Enabling

Question

I am having a big problem with making my forms reader enabled.  I previously did not have this problem until just recently.  When I go to File > Save As Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools... I get the error The document could not be Reader Enabled.  I have checked the security settings, I have made sure I have closed form editing, etc.  Nothing seems to work.  What has happened with this latest update???  PLEASE HELP!!

Hi monicadwalker,

Sorry for the delay in response.

Is the document created in LiveCycle Designer? If you have created your form with LiveCycle Designer, open the PDF file with Acrobat Pro and try to save the Reader Enabled file with a different name, and not replacing the existing file.
