Adobe Acrobat does not print properly under specific user profile
I have a user that all of a sudden can no longer properly print any PDF files correctly. When it prints, only certain elements in the pages will show. One of them is a digital signature that actually shows when printing. Most everything else is blank. The printer is fine and can print other documents types other than PDF.
If I try printing to Adobe PDF, I notice that the print preview shows exactly what shows when it's printed. After printing to Adobe PDF, it shows everything that was shown on the printed page...most everything blank except for certain things like digital signature.
I have tried printing the same PDF files under a different user profile, and they printed fine.
I'm certain that the user profile is the issue. I tried renamed any folders titled adobe under:
C:\users\<userprofile>\appdata\Local
C:\users\<userprofile>\appdata\LocalLow
C:\users\<userprofile>\appdata\Roaming
Renaming these still did not fix the issue, so I would like to just re-create the users windows profile because I can't find a solution.
However, I would like to see if there's a way to locate the root of the issue. I don't know where in the user profile that this issue would occur, and maybe there are other folders I need to look in? Or, maybe it's something that got messed up in the registry under the current user hive?
