Question

Adobe Acrobat has become very unstable....

We are operating on Windows 11 (not sure if that is the issue or Adobe Updates).

We are using Adobe Acrobat DC

1.  We are constantly getting Certificate issues and have followed instructions to 'Update' Trust Certificates. The security alerts continue to happen with the issue relating to adobe.io certificate.

2.  We try to open PDFs and the software does not open. After continuous clicks and maybe 30 seconds Adobe will open - maybe. We also try 'Open With'. The response is extremely intermittent.

3. Once open we try to edit. The software says 'Not responding'. A restart is necessary.

It is only happening on the Windows 11 upgraded PCs. Does anyone know what is going on. It is a nightmare.

Regards

Brent

Hi Brent,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble.

Please try the troubleshooting steps suggested in the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-crashes-on-windows-os.html.

If the issue persists, let us know if the problem occurs when you try launching the application without any PDF.

Are you opening any particular type of PDFs or from a specific location?

Share the Acrobat version installed on the machine.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
