Adobe Acrobat: How to create link function area in any size

Why can't I no longer create the area in any size for link functions in Adobe Acrobat? It's like the edges are attracted from invisible areas.

Go to View - Show/Hide - Rulers&Grids and tick off "Snap to Grid".
