Adobe Acrobat installed app doesn't open

My Adobe Acrobat installed app suddenly stopped working.

I am using a MacBook M1 (Ventura 13.1) and have the latest version of the app.

Everything was working fine for all the months I’ve been using it. One day, I was working normally using the app, when I was finished I closed it and about 30mins - 1h later when I came back to re-use it on something else it wouldn’t open (one hop on the slide-bar and that’s it). I tried everything from adjusting settings on my computer to cleaning, deleting and re-downloading the app - nothing…

Any ideas of what to do??

Since you already tried deleting, cleaning, and reinstalling Acrobat, I’d check for a stuck Adobe process first.

Open Activity Monitor and look for AcroCEF or RdrCEF. If you see them running, force quit those processes and try opening Acrobat again. Adobe specifically recommends this for Acrobat launch issues on macOS.

If that doesn’t help, try creating a temporary macOS user account and launch Acrobat there. If it opens normally under the new account, the problem is probably something in the original user profile rather than the Acrobat installation.

Also, since you’re on Ventura, check System Settings > General > Login Items and make sure the Adobe Creative Cloud login item is enabled.

Yep, me too. Exactly the same - one hop and nothing. Tried everything. Restart reinstall etc. Also using Ventura 13.1.

Can somebody help here please. Thanks.
