Adobe Acrobat issues

Hi!

 

When I have a PDF document and I go to "Save As" and save it under a different name it will save but Adobe then makes the same altered changes to the original document. So the edits I make are also getting done to the original. This just started and my Adobe is completely up to date. Can anyone help?

    I second that this is not something Acrobat should be able to do. When saving a file with a new name, it should save a copy rather than change the original one.

    Do you have the original copy saved on the cloud, or is it saved locally? Keep both the files locally and then try making the changes.

    Also, a screen-recording of your workflow would be super helpful in understanding the issue better.

    Hi,

    Are you able to record the process so that we can see what is happening, as this is not something that Acrobat should be able to do?
