Adobe Acrobat IX Pro Extended Crashes Windows 10 When Using Geospatial Registration

I recently had to purchase a new PC. It has Windows 10. I am using Adobe Acrobat IX Pro Extended to create maps. Since I installed Acrobat on the new PC the software will crash whenever I go to select the coordinate system when using the geospatial registration tool. Adobe simply crashes and Windows gives me the error and asks to close the program. I've tried several times and it crashes every time. Is this version of Acrobat not compatible with Windows 10?

Hi timothyp67454086,

Adobe Acrobat IX Pro is not compatible with Windows 10.

That might be the reason you are experiencing this issue.

However, you can try once the troubleshooting steps provided in this help document: Troubleshoot Windows system errors, freezes | Adobe software

Would like to inform you that Adobe Acrobat IX is an old and unsupported version.End of support | Reader 9 and Acrobat 9 (and earlier)

Regards,

Meenakshi
