Adobe Acrobat keeps freezing and crashing when I copy text from the pdf. I also scrolls very slowly

Acrobat keeps freezing and crashing. I need to have atleast 4 pdfs open at the same time. It recently started doing this, but today it was just unusable. It's really frustating. And I have reinstalled, troubleshooted and fixed settings to not start in safe mode during start-up. My windows is also updated. I don't know what to do know, I guess the software just sucks?

I downloaded the Foxit PDF program, and it was much better and didn't crash. Adobe has better UI though, but I'll have to get used to Foxit because Adobe can't get away with this in 2022.
