Question

Adobe Acrobat - no actualized view by opening a document that was many time replaced / saved

Dear Community,

I'm trying to find a solution to the following problem:

I'm exporting PDF with Vectorworks always under the same name (saving and replacing a same file because I am working afterwards with Indesign) and whenever I open the new document exported, the old version of the document is shown in Adobe Acrobat. I cannot see the actualised version, even if the document is actualised for exemple in my Indesign document.

Do you have a solution, so that everytime I save a document under the same name, the preview of Adobe Acrobat is also actualised?

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

Hi @Lilaslou

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the troubled experience.
We are aware of a similar issue on our end. Could you help us with the following so we can confirm whether this is the same issue or a different one:

Help us with the following details:

  1. Acrobat version installed:  https://adobe.ly/3PQQ7nE
  2. OS name and version.
  3. Screen recording showing the problem.

Please ensure your copy of Adobe Acrobat is updated. To check for any pending updates, launch Acrobat > Help > Check For Updates.

Will be waiting for your response.

For your information, the licence I am using is coming from my school in Switzerland (OST) and I am working on MacOS 14.4.1 (23E224).

I looked for updates but couldn't find any available.
