I have exact same problem - New pc, wondows 11. Tried everything. Not wasting anymore time on this - going to have to use another app. Very disappointed with Adobe 😞

"How can I read a pdf on line without having to download it first?"

Everything you see on your screen must first be downloaded to your computer, one way or another.

For me this problem was solved when Adobe forced me to install Foxit Reader (since you can't have Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Pro anymore).

Try going to settings > apps > click on adobe acrobat from list of apps > hit modify > repair

Hopefully this helps.

Thanks for responding! I tried that but it didn't work. Maybe it is a Google thing. I just tried it on a different browser (Edge) and it works.

How can I read a pdf on line without having to download it first? It drives me nuts because it makes me save the pdf file to my computer every single time I try to open an on line pdf so I end up with multiples of the pdf saved for every time I go to the website to look at it.
