Adobe Acrobat not displaying updated menu images from website

Hi everyone,
I am creating PDF menus for my restaurant website using Adobe Acrobat.

Some images and content are linked from my website:
https://arabicmenu.org

However, Acrobat sometimes does not load the latest version of these images or content.
I have already tried:

  • Updating Acrobat to the latest version

  • Refreshing the links in the PDF

  • Checking internet connection

  • Testing on multiple devices

Even after these steps, some external content still does not update in Acrobat.

Does anyone know a reliable way to ensure that PDFs always display the latest content from external websites?

Thank you for your guidance!

You can’t create a live link in a PDF file to images that are located on a web-server. A PDF is a static file format, except for things like form fields and comments.

Hi arabic_6446,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with Acrobat.

As you create a PDF, please confirm how you add images and links to it. Do you create the PDF in Acrobat, or convert a file to PDF? More information would be helpful.

Please share the sample PDF and a small video on how it is opening on your end.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
