Adobe Acrobat only works in compatibility mode?

Wonder if anyone can shed some light on this.

 

We have a user who uses Adobe Acrobat quite regularly, last week Wednesday they had issues where Acrobat would open, and then close after a few seconds, it would go past the splash screen and open the aplication and would work, i.e if you tried to click file or browse from recently open files, it would jut close.. With nothing showing in the Event Viewer.

 

Windows was up to date as 21H1, and as far as we're aware there were no updates to Creative Cloud or Acrobat. I tried installing the latest planned update and manually updating with no joy. Un-installed/Re-installed, using the adobe cleaner with no joy...

 

As a last resort i've turned on compatibility with Windows 7 and this has seemingly worked, though conscious this is a random solution.

 

Is anyone aware of any compatibility issues or any issues between Adobe Acrobat and the latest version of Windows 10? as we have other users and want to be aware.
