Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

If Acrobat is opening with a blank page whenever you try to open a PDF from Google (or a browser), it usually points to either the browser integration or the application settings. A few things you can try:

1. Check your browser settings – In Chrome (or your browser), go to Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > Additional content settings > PDF documents and make sure “Download PDFs” is enabled so that Acrobat handles them directly.

2. Update Acrobat – Ensure you’re on the latest version (25.01.20643). Go to Help > Check for updates in Acrobat and reboot the computer once.

3. Disable and re-enable the browser extension – If you’re using the Acrobat extension in Chrome/Edge, try turning it off and back on. Sometimes a quick reset clears the blank page issue.

4. Repair installation – In Acrobat, go to Help > Repair Installation (Win Only) and let it run a fix.

If none of these steps help, could you let us know:

  • Which browser you’re using,
  • Whether this happens with all web pages or specific ones,
  • And the exact version of Acrobat you have installed.

This information will help us narrow it down further.
