Adobe Acrobat PDF file properties versus File Explorer folder permissions

Hello,

I am having an issue that is super strange and I have no idea where to even begin to troubleshoot it. I created a pdf that gets dragged and dropped into multiple folders that act like a work "Queue". The various folders have different permissions and any document created into the folders are set to inherit parent permissions. For some reason, when one of my process' participants saves a file, then drags and drops it into the next folder, the file won't inherit the parent permissions. This does not occur in the previous step where a different participant does the exact same thing. I'm not entirely sure where to correct this. Has anyone else had this issue?

Turns out it was a weird blip in our security permissions on the folder, not with Adobe Acrobat. All is working now.

Please share in which operating system is this happening and version

Also is this happening using both Acrobat PRO and Acrobat Reader products?  what versions are you using?
