Adobe Acrobat PDF senden mit Outlook NEW

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out and for sharing the details of the issue. I understand how important it is for you and your team to quickly send PDFs via email, and I can see how this change has disrupted your workflow.

Currently, Adobe Acrobat relies on the Windows default email program (via MAPI integration) to send files directly through the “Send by Email” option. The challenge here is that the “new Outlook” (the modern Outlook app) is not yet fully supported by Acrobat as a default mail client, which is why you’re seeing the message that no email program is installed. That’s also why Acrobat continues to work with David Mail or with the classic Outlook desktop client, but not the new Outlook app.

At this time, there’s no direct fix within Acrobat to make the “new Outlook” behave like a standard MAPI email client.

A few possible workarounds you may consider:

1. Save & Attach Manually

2. Use Acrobat’s “Share” Feature: Instead of “Send by Email,” use the Share button in Acrobat. This allows you to generate a secure link and send it via Outlook, which can sometimes be faster when sending multiple PDFs.

Since this is a known compatibility limitation, the best step would be to also submit feedback with our development team here https://adobe.ly/3JyFar6 so that full support for Outlook New can be implemented in future updates.
