Adobe Acrobat Pro 10.1.1

Please can someone help?

My Adobe Acrobat Pro 10.1.1 keeps crashing after about 5 seconds every time I open a document in it. I have tried various things that have been suggested, but it has not improved at all.

Has anyone come up with a solution to this problem that works? Please share and it will be very much appreciated.

So frustrated now!!!

First, you must be sure to use the latest version.
Acrobat X latest version is 10.1.16

Thank You!!!!  It worked well for my windows side.  May I ask another question.  I reinstalled CS6 on my MacBook Air and though I check my apps I want installed, it refuses to install Adobe Acrobat.  I thought if I could install it and then do the upgrade it would fix my MAC side.  Do you have any hints on this one too?  Thanks JR

Legacy Creative Suite installers won't work on macOS Sierra, High Sierra or Mojave without terminal workarounds.

Catalina is not an option for older 32-bit apps.

Acrobat Reader DC is free.

So... it looks like the only way round this problem is to spend money either joining the CC subscription, or buy buying Acrobat Pro 2017. Acrobat 10.1.1 is just too damn old!

Actually, upgrading 10.1.1 to 10.1.16 fixed the problem.  Thanks to JR_Bouley for his response.  It worked flawlessless.

This began happening to me within the last 1.5 months.  I deactivated, uninstalled & reinstalled the CS6 programs.  Only Photoshop and Illustrator load.  The others do not load though the system shows it has.  I've drilled down lookig for Acrobat and am unsuccessful in my attempts to find it.  I ama also using Parallels.  I am experiencing the same situation you are having with your Acrobat.  I would love to have someone who has fixed this strange behaviour respond.  Thanks all!

I was just experiencing this a few days ago! I ended up uninstalling and then reinstalling Acrobat. Also, make sure your CC Desktop app is up to date and that you have the latest version of Acrobat installed!

If that doesn't help, please give us some more information and we can better try to help you!

I haven't joined CC yet, so this is an issue on my desktop application CS6.

I'm with you on that.  Still on CS6.
