My Adobe Acrobat Pro (CS4) keeps crashing everytime I try to work on a PDF file. It crashes after about 5 seconds. I am running the application on a Mac, Version 10.14.6
I was wondering if their is some type of update for this version or what? I don't want to have to purchase an upgrade for it.

Your Acrobat needs an update to its latest version.

You can use the Acrobat's Help menu : Check Updates

Or :  https://supportdownloads.adobe.com/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Macintosh

Thank you! Checking on it now:)

It is very old, but updating Acrobat to the final free update for 10.x, 10.1.16 has helped some people with this issue. See the last part of https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/acrobat/kb/install-updates-reader-acrobat.html for links. You can expect to need an upgrade soon though, and ALL OLD APPS ARE OBSOLETE IN CATALINA (just in case you hadn't heard).

Thank you so much! I'll check out those updates right now. Crossing my fingers this helps the issue, but if not thanks anyways:)

Hey there,

The Creative Suite version you are referring above is CS4 and you are working on Mac OS Version 10.14.6 which isn't latest but neither too old like CS4.

CS4 is a very old creative suite which has now been discontinued. Its products hasn't been tested on latest OS (Mac and Windows). There's a high possibility your application (Acrobat) would not work on Mac Mojave.

Sorry to say, update wont help here. To make it work, you have to go for an upgrade.

Thanks,
