Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 - Unable to open Preferences in Edit

I am trying to make the default Zoom when I open a document 100%, right not it is 200%. To do this I know I need to go to Edt > Preferences.

However, when I click Preferences, I get the following error: "Failed to load an application resource (internal error)"

I have tried everything.  I uninstalled and reinstalled.  I made sure it was updated via Help> Check for Updates.

Nothing seems to work.  Thanks for the assistance.

Try running it in Compatibility Mode with an earlier OS, like Windows 7. Beyond that there's not much you can do.

Acrobat 9 is quite out-of-date.  It is likely not compatible with any modern-day operating system.  Misbehaving may be a side-effect of this.  On what machine/OS are you running Acrobat 9?

My best,

Dave
