Adobe Acrobat Pro can't process .log .PDF or .JDF files

I have a registered copy of Adobe Acrobat Pro xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-8136 Version 10 Windows registered August 21, 2012. However the error message says Distiller can't process the .log .PDF or .JDF files. I'm not sure what distiller is but I bought Adobe Acrobat Pro.

I have a feeling this will never work and want to get my $199. back so I can buy the subscription version

uninstall your acrobat x after securing your serial number

if win os, clean per Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

restart your computer

reinstall acrobat x and activate with your serial number.

p.s. distiller is the adobe program that converts other file types to pdfs.
