Adobe Acrobat Pro, combining files

Adobe Acrobat Pro. Previously I could combine word and pdf files into on consecutive document, now the layout when combining has changed into each document on it's own. Even when opening the stored file in Adobe reader the same setup appears. What has changed in Acrobat Pro, or did I change any settings?

If you're using the "Combine files into a single PDF" command, click on Options and make sure it's set to combine them to a single PDF, not as a Portfolio.
