Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - 2015 Release

About a year ago, I had PRO DC installed on my PC from a DVD and was working fine.

Recently I had a problem with my PC that resulted in my having to uninstall PRO DC.

Got the PC straightened out.

Now when I re-install Acrobat Pro DC from the DVD it completes the install successfully, no problems with the install at all.

However, when I double click the newly created ICON for Pro DC, absolutely nothing happens.

No error messages. No flashing of the screen.  Nothing.

This is Windows 7 64bit HP EliteDesk PC.

I am experiencing no other issues at all.

Hi Mantybob,

If the application installed correctly then it could be a possibility that its not launching because of some other technical problem.

You may please try closing it from the Task manager.

  • Open task manager and close all Acrobat instances.
  • Turn the firewall off (for a while) for the antivirus if you have any.
  • Right click on the Acrobat icon and run as administrator and see if that works.

If it still doesn't work or you are unable to launch the application then use cleaner tool and uninstall the application-Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

And reinstall it through dvd or you can download it  through Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X
