Question

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC crashes every time I create a new document with the scanner

(1) I have tried re-installing the program and restarting my computer multiple times.

(2) The program crashes for any kind of scanning job as soon as the scan finishes

(3) The crash is basically the program closing out of itself on its own

I have tried every solution online. What can I do to fix this?

I have 19.010.20064

Hi Priscillan,

Thanks for sharing the detailed steps performed.

Since you have the latest version of Acrobat already installed, then we suggest you to please refer troubleshooting steps suggested in the official help document here: Troubleshooting tips for scanner issues when using Acrobat

-As suggested, Install the latest scanner driver.

-Run installation repair for Acrobat, Open Acrobat>Help>Repair Acrobat.

-Refer to the step-5 in the link here: Resolve Acrobat DC intermittent crashes on Windows

- Adobe has released security updates for Adobe Acrobat and Reader for Windows and Mac OS. As its an optional update, you may first follow the steps suggested above, and if that doesn't help then refer to the link: DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products and install the version 19.010.20069.

Let us know the update.

Regards,

Akanchha
