Adobe Acrobat Pro DC keeps crashing when creating PDFs

I am running Windows 10. Every time I try to create a PDF on Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, I receive the message, "starting the application which created the selected document." Then a clock comes up and Adobe freezes/crashes. I have tried updating and repair for installation neither helped. I uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and am still having the same problem. Sometimes I receive the message, "Fatal Error: Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server." Is Adobe able to work under Windows 10?

Would appreciate any replies...Someone please help!

Hi Delia

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described the application is crashing and unavle to open the PDF and you are getting the error 'Failed to connect to DDE server'

As you have already tried  repairing the installation , updating , uninstall and reinstalling the application with no success, please try the steps provided in the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/failed-to-connect-to-dde-server.html and see if that helps.

Regards

Amal
